Your dating app kept the conversation where it all started. We turn it into a book you can open together, share, and keep.

Spark or Matchbook?
Choose if you want to try the free version (Spark) or if you want to purchase a Matchbook.
- Step 2
Bring in your conversation
Upload your data and select the conversation with your partner. We rebuild the conversation where it started, with both profiles. With Matchbook, you can also build it by hand.
- Step 3
Invite your partner
Send them a link to add their side: their profile, their photos, their half of the story. Optional, but it's what makes it yours together.
- Step 4
Make it yours, then share it
Add memories (photos, places, GIFs, voice notes), a letter, a video, and pick a format. Share it with a private link, or download it to print or frame. You can also export the entire Matchbook.
Getting your download
Dating apps let you download all your data, including your profile and conversations. You ask for it in the app, and they email you a link.

- 1In the Hinge app, open Settings → Download My Data.
- 2Hinge emails you a download link and it will usually be delivered within a day or two.
- 3Download the .zip and unzip it.
When you start your Spark or Matchbook, upload it. The upload page tells you which files to choose.
Private by default
- Every Spark or Matchbook is protected behind its own password. Only people you give it to can open it.
- Your download is deleted as soon as the conversation you picked is in your Matchbook (or after 24 hours, if you don't finish).
- Uploaded photos are checked for explicit content before anyone else sees them.
- You can download everything we've stored about you, or delete it from your account.

How long does the download take?
Hinge usually emails your link within a day or two. Tinder can take a few days. Request it now and start your Matchbook while you wait.
Does my partner need to do anything?
No. A Matchbook works with just your side. If they add theirs, it shows both profiles and both halves of the story. Hinge and Tinder downloads only include your side of the conversation, so their download completes it.
We didn't meet on Hinge or Tinder. Can I still make a Matchbook?
With a Matchbook you can build it by hand: both names, the day you met, then the conversation you remember.
I'm not sure my download has the conversation. How do I confirm?
